1. General

Welcome to Discount Airbags. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website www.discountairbags.com, including content, functionality, and service offered through it, as well as your purchase and use of products, including airbags and related automotive components (collectively, the “Products”).

By accessing or using Discount Airbags, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. These terms govern all purchases, services, and communications conducted through our website.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding legal agreement to purchase Products from this website. By placing an order, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Product Information

Discount Airbags specializes in new and remanufactured airbags and automotive parts. Improper installation, modification, or handling of safety components can result in malfunction, injury, or death. Discount Airbags is not liable for damages or injuries arising from misuse, unauthorized modification, or improper installation.

All Products are sold “as-is”, without installation, and must be installed only by a certified technician or licensed automotive repair facility.

We make every effort to describe Products accurately, but:

  • Actual colors, markings, and compatibility details may vary.
  • Compatibility with a specific vehicle should be verified by the buyer prior to purchase.
  • Product images and descriptions are for reference only and may not represent the exact unit shipped.

4. Ordering & Payments

We accept secure payments via: American Express, Discover, VISA, Amazon Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and QuickBooks Payments. By submitting payment information, you authorize us (and our third-party payment processors) to charge the payment method provided for the total purchase amount.

All transactions are processed in U.S. dollars. Orders are subject to verification and acceptance before fulfillment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including suspected fraud or resale without authorization.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship throughout the United States, excluding U.S. territories. Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Shipping times vary depending on product availability and destination. Delivery times provided during checkout are estimates and not guaranteed.

Risk of loss passes to the buyer when products are delivered to the carrier.

Important: Airbags and certain components classified as hazardous materials (HazMat) may require special handling and documentation. Additional shipping charges or restrictions may apply.

Shipping Coverage and Rates

  • Continental United States (Lower 48 States):

    We offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders delivered within the continental U.S.

  • Hawaii (HI) and Alaska (AK):

    Orders shipping to Hawaii or Alaska are subject to a flat-rate shipping fee (final amount to be determined and displayed at checkout).

  • International Orders:

    International shipping rates are determined automatically through our Smart Shipping (SS) API system.

    The API calculates a base carrier cost, applies a standard markup, and rounds the result to the nearest whole denomination (up or down) to create a flat, predictable rate shown at checkout.

    Delivery times and availability will vary depending on destination country and customs regulations.

  • U.S. Territories:

    We currently do not ship to U.S. territories, including American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

6. Returns & Refunds

Our Return Policy governs all requests for returns, replacements, and refunds. Please refer to the Return Policy page for detailed instructions.

7. Product Installation & Safety

Airbags and related safety components must never be installed by unqualified individuals. Products must not be altered, reused, or installed in vehicles for which they were not designed.
Discount Airbags disclaims liability for damages or injuries resulting from improper handling or installation.

By purchasing from this website, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are qualified to handle, store, and install safety components.
  • You will not install or use Products in vehicles for which they are not approved.
  • You accept full responsibility for ensuring the product is used in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • The Company is not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from improper use, installation, or handling.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

Products are sold “as is” without express or implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Buyers assume full responsibility for product use and installation. We warrant that all Products shipped will be free from material defects at the time of delivery.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Improper installation or handling.
  • Damage due to accidents, misuse, or unauthorized modification.
  • Normal wear and tear or corrosion.

9 Limitation of Liability

Discount Airbags are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use, installation, or website interaction.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from product use, installation, or failure.
  • You assume all risks associated with handling and installing airbags or related devices.
  • The Company’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

Liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content (including text, images & product images, graphics, logos, and trademarks) is the property of Discount Airbags and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written consent.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
